The IoT and Device Management Company

Every device.
Any network.
One platform.

Friendly Technologies builds carrier-grade device management: tens of millions of IoT, broadband and smart home devices operated on a single platform, across five continents, on the standards the industry actually runs on.

At a glance Friendly Technologies provides one carrier-grade platform that manages IoT, broadband CPE and smart home devices over LwM2M, MQTT, CoAP, TR-069 and TR-369 USP, deployed on-premises or in the cloud.
10M+devices under management on a single platform
5continents in production, on-prem, private or public cloud

Built for your operation

One platform, four operating realities

Device management looks different from a network operations centre, a device factory, an integrator's bench and a plant floor. Pick your seat; the platform underneath is the same.

Run subscriber CPE and IoT fleets from one pane

Zero-touch provisioning, firmware campaigns and Wi-Fi experience management for broadband CPE, alongside NB-IoT and LTE-M fleets, on the same multi-tenant core. TR-069 today, TR-369 USP when you are ready, without a parallel stack.

  • Zero-touch provisioning at activation, at scale
  • Wi-Fi Management+ for QoE, diagnostics and fewer truck rolls
  • Unlimited multi-tenancy for wholesale and MVNO models
  • AI-assisted issue detection before the subscriber calls

Typical entry points

  • TR-069 to USP migration planning
  • FWA and 5G CPE onboarding
  • Smart home service launches
  • NB-IoT utility fleet contracts

Ship devices that are manageable on day one

Embed a production-hardened LwM2M client during design, prove protocol behaviour before certification, and hand your customers a device that any standards-based platform can manage. Management readiness becomes a feature of the product, not a post-sale surprise.

  • Ultra Series embedded LwM2M clients, sized from MCU to gateway
  • Protocol conformance exercised before the operator lab does it
  • FOTA designed in: delta updates, battery-aware scheduling
  • Reference integrations for NB-IoT, LTE-M, LoRaWAN and NTN modules

Typical entry points

  • Client port to a new module or RTOS
  • Operator certification deadlines
  • FOTA that must survive the field
  • Device catalogue listing and compatibility

Deliver managed IoT without building a platform first

Stand up a white-label device management practice on a platform that is already multi-tenant, already integrated with Azure, AWS and Google bridges, and already speaks every protocol your customers will bring you. Keep the margin that platform building would have burned.

  • Multi-tenant from the first customer, isolation by design
  • REST APIs, Kafka streams and webhooks for your stack
  • Rules engine for per-customer business logic
  • On-prem, private or public cloud, per engagement

Typical entry points

  • Utility AMR tenders
  • Smart city sensor networks
  • Fleet retrofit programmes
  • Managed connectivity upsell

Own the estate: sites, sensors and everything between

Environmental monitoring, metering, asset tracking and industrial gateways under one operational view, integrated with the SCADA, PLC and ERP systems you already run. Built for teams who measure success in uptime, not dashboards.

  • Sensor fusion across sites, buildings and fleets
  • SCADA, PLC and RTU integration for Industry 4.0 programmes
  • Battery lifecycle management for long-life deployments
  • Event triggers and automated remediation, not just alerts

Typical entry points

  • Multi-site environmental compliance
  • Heat and water metering rollouts
  • Vending and unattended retail
  • Campus and depot asset visibility
The Friendly IoT Journey

Silicon to application, one continuous path

Most IoT programmes die in the gaps between vendors: the client that was never tested against the server, the certification that tested a build nobody ships. The Journey closes those gaps with one engineering path and instruments at every stage.

STAGE 01

Design and manufacture

OEM/ODM engineering and supply chain, with manageability designed in from the schematic.

STAGE 02

Embed the client

Ultra Series LwM2M clients: minimal-footprint C for MCUs, modern C++ for gateways.

STAGE 03

Connect globally

eSIM SGP.32, NTN satellite fallback and LPWAN profiles for coverage that follows the asset.

STAGE 04

Verify and harden

Protocol conformance on the bench and security scrutiny under the microscope, before the field does it for you.

STAGE 05

Manage the fleet

One-IoT™ DMP or a dedicated LwM2M server core, from pilot to tens of millions.

STAGE 06

Build apps and dashboards

Application enablement with REST, Kafka and AI-tooling interfaces on live fleet data.

The claim the Journey makes is simple: what you certify is what you manufacture, and what you manufacture is what you operate.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Friendly One-IoT Device Management Platform?
One-IoT is Friendly Technologies' cloud-native device management platform. It manages the complete device lifecycle: onboarding, configuration, firmware over-the-air updates, diagnostics and decommissioning, over LwM2M, MQTT, MQTT-SN, CoAP, HTTP/S, TR-069, TR-369 USP and custom protocols, with one universal data model and unlimited multi-tenancy.
Which device management protocols are supported?
LwM2M 1.0 through 1.2 (tracking the 2.0 work), TR-069, TR-369 USP, OMA-DM, MQTT, MQTT-SN, CoAP, HTTP/S and SCEF/NIDD, with protocol conversion between them so mixed estates stay on one platform.
What is the Friendly IoT Journey?
The six-stage engineering path a connected product travels: design and manufacture, embed the LwM2M client, connect globally (eSIM SGP.32, NTN, LPWAN), verify and harden, manage the fleet, build applications. The claim it makes: what you certify is what you manufacture, and what you manufacture is what you operate.
Can one deployment manage both broadband CPE and IoT fleets?
Yes. TR-069/USP CPE management and LwM2M/MQTT IoT fleets run on the same multi-tenant core, so operators avoid parallel stacks and duplicate integrations.
How is the platform deployed?
On-premises (physical or virtual), private cloud (customer or Friendly provided), or Friendly-hosted SaaS. The platform is Kubernetes-based and bridges to Azure IoT, AWS IoT and Google Cloud via One-IoT Bridge.

See your devices on the platform, not on a slide.
